PDFlet

Privacy

Your PDF files stay on your computer.

PDFlet is designed around local desktop processing. The website provides product information, a sample-data demo and signed installer downloads; it does not accept your PDF documents for conversion.

Desktop file processing

The desktop application opens input files from paths you choose and writes results to a local destination you choose. Merge, page, image, compression, inspection and text-table export operations run on your computer.

Website data

The browser demo uses sample rows included with the website. It does not contain a PDF upload control. Like most hosted websites, infrastructure providers may process basic request information such as IP address, user agent, requested URL and time for security and delivery.

Downloads and accounts

PDFlet does not require a product account. Installer requests are delivered through PDFlet's download endpoint from signed release assets. The macOS installer is Developer ID signed, Apple-notarized and checked by Gatekeeper before publication.

Current boundary

Text-based PDF workflows are available. Scanned-document OCR support is coming soon and is not presented as part of the base release.
